Natural Wegovy Healthy Egg Breakfast: GLP-1 Food
Natural Wegovy is a meal that naturally activates GLP-1, your body’s satiety hormone, through real food rather than Ozempic or Wegovy injections. Total time: 10 minutes. Serves 1. Built around a soft-boiled egg, ricotta cheese, almonds, olive oil, and raspberries, this healthy egg breakfast was popularized by a Korean doctor and is currently one of the trendiest natural GLP-1 foods in Korea right now. I’m adding my own twist from the same approach that helped me lose 20kg and today I’m sharing this wellness morning plate I’ve been completely obsessed with.

Natural Wegovy? And Why Koreans Named It That
Natural Wegovy is a wholesome meal that naturally stimulates your body’s GLP-1 hormone using real food instead of Wegovy or Ozempic injections. GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) is a hormone released by your small intestine after you eat. It sends a fullness signal to your brain, slows digestion, and stabilizes blood sugar. Wegovy and Ozempic are injections that artificially mimic this hormone.

But did you know that certain foods can stimulate GLP-1 secretion on their own without any injection? A well-known Korean doctor(Woo Chang-yoon) pointed out that eating protein-rich eggs together with olive oil, high in unsaturated fat, can activate GLP-1 release and help regulate food intake. That’s exactly what this healthy breakfast does. And that’s precisely why it’s called Natural Wegovy.

The dr.Woo recommended eating boiled eggs with olive oil, and suggested that adding Greek yogurt and gold kiwi would give you healthy fats, protein, and dietary fiber all in one plate.

What Goes Into My Natural Wegovy Plate

How to Make Natural Wegovy: Healthy Egg Breakfast
Step 1. Boil the Egg
Bring water to a rolling boil. Lower the egg in gently using a spoon. Set a timer for 8 minutes for a soft boiled egg. If you prefer fully hard-boiled, go 10 minutes. When the timer goes off, transfer immediately to cold water.

Step 2. Chop the Almonds
Use a knife to roughly chop the almonds.

Step 3. Plate and Season
Spoon the ricotta onto your plate. Peel and halve the boiled egg, then place them on the ricotta. Drizzle olive oil and add one pinch of salt and black pepper. Scatter the chopped almonds over the top. Place the raspberries on the side of the plate.

Why Every Ingredient in This Recipe Works

Mistakes I Made When I First Developed This Recipe 😱
I Overcooked the Egg
When I first started making this natural wegovy breakfast, I used a 10-minute fully hard-boiled egg. But I realized that a softer, 8-minute egg pairs so much better with the creamy ricotta.
I Chopped the Almonds Too Fine
At first, I chopped the almonds very finely. The result? Chalky and textureless. The pieces need to be large enough that you’re actually biting down on something, that’s when the nutty flavor really comes through and the texture becomes part of the experience. Plus, chewing more thoroughly is better for digestion overall.

Substitutions & How to Adapt This Recipe
Ricotta cheese: If you want to rank by protein content, cottage cheese comes first, followed by Greek yogurt, then ricotta. Swap based on your taste preference or protein goals.
Raspberries: I chose raspberries over the doctor’s recommended gold kiwi because they have an exceptionally low glycemic index (GI). I usually pair this breakfast with low-GI berries. Swap freely based on your preference.
Almonds: Pistachios or walnuts.
Dairy-free version: Soy yogurt.

What to Pair With This for a Full Wellness Morning
