Tornado Corn Dog: Easy Korean Corn Dog Recipe with Puff Pastry

Crispy on the outside and juicy with sausage inside, this Korean corn dog recipe takes only 10 minutes! With just one puff pastry, you can make the Tornado Corn Dog, a popular gas stop snack in Korea!

Equipment

  • 1 Knife & cutting board
  • 1 baking brush (for egg wash)
  • 1 oven or air fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 2 frank sausages
  • 1/6 pack puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp ketchup

Instructions
 

  • Cut the puff pastry into long strips, about 1.5 cm wide.

  • Wrap the puff pastry strips around the sausages in a spiral.

  • Brush the top with egg yolk.

  • Bake in an oven or air fryer at 180°C (355°F) for 10–15 minutes, until golden.
