Ingredients

  • 3 boiled eggs
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 1 pinch parsley
Tteokbokki Sacue for Weight Loss
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 0.5 tsp curry powder
  • 70 ml water

Equipment

  • 1 Microwave
  • 1 Pot
  • 1 microwave safe bowl:
  • 1 Fork
  • 1 Spoon

Method

  1. Boil the eggs and peel them.

  2. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well to make a tteokbokki sauce.

  3. Add the boiled eggs to the sauce and coat them evenly.

  4. Cooking tip: Use a fork to poke the front, back, and sides of the eggs to prevent them from bursting.
  5. Microwave for 3 minutes (for best results, heat in 1-minute intervals to reduce the chance of bursting).

  6. Place the cheddar cheese slice on top and microwave for an additional 30 seconds.
