This is a recipe for crispy Korean salt bread that’s trending in Korea. No dough is needed! I'll show you how to make it in just 10 minutes using dinner rolls.

Ingredients

  • 3 dinner rolls
  • 30 g unsalted butter (for filling)
  • 5 g unsalted butter (for brushing)
  • 3 pinches fine sea salt
  • 3 pinches coarse salt

  1. Slice each dinner roll in half horizontally.

  2. On the bottom half, make a shallow cross-cut (X) with a knife.

  3. Place about 10 g of butter inside each roll. If your butter is unsalted, sprinkle 1 pinch of fine sea salt inside each roll.

  4. Melt the 5 g butter in a microwave. Brush it over the top of the rolls, then sprinkle 1 pinch of coarse salt on each.

  5. Cook in an air fryer or oven at 180°C (355°F) for 8–10 minutes, until lightly golden and crisp.
